As the princess of Horse Haven, Eclipse was brought up in a world or riches and power. She was named Storming Eclipse due to the night she was born.
That night was cold and dark, lightning and thunder played with the rain. The white mare lay, shaken due to that of the closeness her foal was due to be born. Near by stood her husband, a large golden red stallion of great body structure. At nineteen hands and about two thousand pounds, the King Trake of Horse Haven was one not to be messed with. His wife, Queen Kyliri was the opposite. She was a small mare at about sixteen hands and one thousand two hundred pounds she was not a horse of great structure. Her temperment was that of a flower, soft and pretty, but she could still be aggressive. When Eclipse was born her mother was taken aback. How could she produce a foal of such dark coloring? Both her husband's and her side of the family had been light colored. So came the name Storming Eclipse. Her parents thought her a light hidden amoung a storn thus earning her name.
Years later and Eclipse cut her name short. Taking off the Storm part was easy for her but not for her parents. They fought day and night but still not solution came about.
After her parents finally gave in (about four months later) Eclipse had fallen in love with a stallion named Hassen born to a rival herd. Her parents were devistated when they found out it was the son of the rival's leader. She pleaded with her parents to stay with the stallion she loved but they would not budge. So as a teenage horse would do, they ran away together. They were happy being together but a dark storm soon hit and Eclipse and Hassen were seperated, and have been ever since.....
